Academic Excellence on Display: 81 Condors Named OCAA All-Academic Award Recipients
The Conestoga Condors are proud to recognize an outstanding group of student-athletes who have achieved excellence not only in competition, but also in the classroom. A total of 81 Condors have earned 2024–25 OCAA All-Academic Awards, the third-highest total among all OCAA institutions.
Presented by the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association, the OCAA All-Academic Award honours full-time varsity student-athletes who attain honours standing during a semester in which they participate in varsity athletics. For the 2024–25 academic year, over 1,100 student-athletes across the province were recognized for their academic success, with Conestoga continuing to set a high standard.
At Conestoga, academic achievement is a cornerstone of the varsity experience. These student-athletes embody this core Condor value showing that success in sport and school go hand in hand.
Adding to the achievement, the Condors proudly led the province with the top academic teams in Men’s Volleyball, Men’s Basketball, and Women’s Softball, a true testament to the program’s commitment to developing well-rounded student-athletes.
Note: Student-athletes listed in bold have also been named CCAA Academic All-Canadians, the highest individual academic honour in collegiate sport, while those in italics earned OCAA Academic Athletic Excellence Awards for combining academic success with elite-level performance in their sport.
