Overview
The Varsity Operations Assistant will assist in executing the day-to-day tasks in support of the varsity portfolio. This position will work closely with the Manager, Varsity and Community Engagement, with guidance and leadership from the varsity coordinators, coaches, and various facility staff, to assist in the overall management of varsity operations. The position will work closely with our varsity teams for practice and game day tasks, with responsibility for equipment, uniforms, and tasks as assigned by the department and team programs. Work hours will be scheduled according to departmental needs. The rate of pay is $17.60 per hour. The start date is August 2026.
Roles and Responsibilities

Support varsity operations pre- and post-game days, including equipment maintenance

Launder team uniforms pre- and post-game days as required

Perform game day technical and statistical operations

Other duties as required
Qualifications

Be in a full-time degree, diploma or certificate program in the Fall 2026 semester, approved for funding by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities (MTCU), OR enrolled in the Fall 2026 semester.

Maintain a full-time course load Fall 2026 term. Part-time studies may be allowed for students who are registered with Accessibility Services and require a reduced load

Have a valid Social Insurance Number

Available to work daytime, evening, and/or weekend work hours
