Overview
The therapy administrative assistant provides assistance to the Certified Athletic Therapists in the varsity clinic. This position would help the therapists with administrative duties, clinical duties and athlete exercise supervision. This is an on-campus opportunity at the Doon Campus. Work hours will be scheduled based on department needs. The rate of pay is $18.82 per hour. The start date is August 2026.
Roles and Responsibilities

Administrative duties such as booking athletes for appointments

Clinical maintenance duties (cleaning tables, laundry etc)

Assist therapists with rehabilitation programs of athletes

Help prepare therapists’ kits for practices and games

Have good relationships with all athletes attending the clinic for rehab

Maintain patient confidentiality

Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
-
Be registered in a full-time degree, diploma, or certificate program in the Fall2026 semester

Maintain a full-time course load in the Fall 2026 term. Part time studies may be allowed for students who are registered with Accessibility Services and require a reduced load

Maintain a satisfactory academic progress – passing 60% of courses and actively progressing through program

Have a valid Social Insurance Number (SIN)

Available to work daytime, evening and/or weekend work hours
